My apologies for not blogging in over a month! So much has been going on since our last post...two vacations, I (Jen) was in Denver for a few days, not to mention all the normal "stuff" that takes up our time. But here we are with a new post.
We spent the week of Thanksgiving at a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. It was actually Thanksmas as we also had Christmas with my brother and sister-in-law since they won't be coming home for Christmas (they're having a baby at the beginning of January). The girls, of course, loved the wrapping paper and boxes more than the gifts themselves; however, they have grown to love the
talking Elmo doll from Uncle Brian and Aunt Kelly. Boy is that Elmo a talker! Sometimes I make sure he has some quiet time. Thank goodness for shut off buttons!
We really didn't do much on our vacation but it was nice to be away and spend time with family. I think the highlight for the girls was playing with Aunt Kelly's water bottles. It's the small things in life! We managed to have a few games of chase which the girls absolutely love! They haven't quite figured out that they should run
from the chaser yet though. But they both laugh hysterically (which is great fun in itself) and have a blast.
